- How many PDFs can I read aloud on the free plan?
- Free accounts can open up to 3 documents a day, with up to 5 pages per document and 10 minutes of narration daily. Pro removes the document and page limits and gives you up to 10 hours of narration each month.
- Can I download the narration as an MP3?
- Yes — MP3 download is a Pro feature. Once your PDF is narrated, tap Download and LoudPDF renders the whole document into a single MP3 file. Free accounts listen in the browser.
- What's the difference between Free and Pro?
- Both plans include all six narrator voices. Pro adds unlimited document uploads with no page limit, up to 10 hours of narration a month (600 minutes), and MP3 export. Free is best for short documents and trying the voices.
- How much narration does Pro include?
- Up to 10 hours of narration each month (about 600 minutes of listening). Add top-up minutes whenever you need them. Everything you have already generated stays playable and downloadable. Add top-up minutes to keep narrating straight away, or narration resumes when your billing period renews. Short-term rate limits also apply to unusually rapid, automated narration.
- What are top-up minutes?
- One-time purchases that add narration minutes on top of your plan: 60 minutes for $5 or 240 minutes for $15. They never expire, carry over between periods, and are used only after your plan's monthly allowance is used up. Top-up purchases are final and non-refundable.
- Which PDFs work?
- Text-based PDFs up to 25 MB. Scanned or photographed documents have no text layer and cannot be narrated, because LoudPDF does not run OCR.
- How do I cancel, and what happens to my access?
- Cancel any time from your account page. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account moves back to Free. Purchased top-up minutes stay yours.
- Do you offer refunds?
- No — LoudPDF payments are non-refundable, including part-used billing periods and top-up minutes. You can cancel any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, and top-up minutes never expire. Nothing in our policy removes a statutory refund right that applies to you. If you think you've been charged in error or something went wrong with a payment, choose "Billing & subscription" below and we'll look into it.
- What happens to my document?
- Your PDF file never leaves your device — the text is extracted in your browser. Only that extracted text is sent over an encrypted connection to generate the narration. We do not keep the extracted text; the generated audio is stored against your account so replays and repeat downloads don't use more minutes. See the privacy notice for the full detail.
